Christmas Supper

In one of the parcels  lately we  received  some   delicious snacks straight from Poland. Among this was polish soup, barszcz. I remember our Christmas at home when I was still little girl. Every year mum prepared this soup as one of the meals for our Christmas dinner.  So when I saw that  soup in the box  it brought such  a joy to my heart. What a unexpected gift for us. For our Christmas in Uganda we had barszcz. Thank you Krysia for thinking of us. We pray heavenly Father bless you and your family  for your caring heart.

Merry Christmas

All you rejoice and be glad, because a Savior has come to earth. The greatest miracle of all time has taken place. The child of God has come to earth in human form. He has been born not in a palace, but in poor man's stable. How humble our God is and so great is his love. Merry Christmas to you my friends.

Christmas with kids

Few days back the voluntaries organized the Christmas party for 100 hundred children. It came as a big surprise for many of them, because this year we knew there will be no party. There was no funds for it, but because of some well wishes God made it possible. The children enjoyed good food. It was a lot of rice, meat, matoke and many other African food. Apart from that each child got a small gift. The kids had much fun that day. They prepared drama for visitors, played games, race with one another.  For some of them it has been a memorable day and it will remind for long The children saw Santa for the first time in their lives. Some they were wondering where it comes from?
All in all the day was very good, we thank you those who contributed in to it, and  of course big thanks to Magda, Paula, Agnieszka and Joel who organized this day.

More parcels

We are great full for all the boxes  which are sent to us from Poland and other countries.  It is a big joy to see little ones smiling to see more parcels coming to Uganda.  Lately we visited children in different Organization we work with. Many of those children got blessed once again because of you my dear supporters. Every small thing gives much joy to everybody, no matter of what is in the box. One of the latest boxes had much underwear for children. Many of you may think about big things but for people here one pair of underwear it is lot's of blessing from above. Most of those kids wear nothing under their shorts. The poverty is almost in every home. People are struggling  because of no food,  no clothes,  no education, diseases in the family. For us we are thankful for God's care and love. There is no day we say we are hungry. Hannah is growing very fast, taking not only breast milk but other food. Glory be to God for his faithfulness.
We appreciate you stand with us in prayer and financial support. Sending big thanks from children. May God bless you more than ever.

Visiting nurseries

Last week me and Henry together with our little Hannah and Paula, the girl from Poland were visiting nurseries deep in the villages. The way to those nurseries was long, the road very bumpy and the sun was to much. But thank God Hannah was not much complaining, otherwise work would be much harder. For the condition we were in she did very well.
The children there were happy to see muzungu for the first  time in their lives. Some of the schools prepared special welcome songs and little presentations for us. It was so much fun to listen to some of them. The kids were disciplined and listen very well to their teachers, almost all of them did not have shoes, no school uniforms. As we received some boxes of clothes we  were able to take them with us. Apart from that we took sweets, shoes, scholastic materials.
After visiting all the nurseries we see how much they are in needs. Some don't have classes, they teach from outside and kids are sitting under the three. Some don't have enough bunches, no educational materials. Kids needs books, teachers earn very little which is not enough to provide for their families. Almost each of them have their own children, the money they earn at school is definitely not enough. We are praying for these nurseries to improve but without materials  it is very hard. However we trust God for everything "If God is for us,who can be against us" Rom 8;31

Back in Keynjojo

After long break we are back in Keynjojo. With us there is 6 volunteers who come from Poland and Switzerland. We are happy to have Paula and Wiola back for second time. Unfortunately Wiola is leaving us for Mozambique end of this week. We pray blessing upon her trip and wish her to have a wonderful time in Heidi Baker Ministry. Paula is staying with us for 6 months, Joel and Magda will also stay for longer. Piotr (came in July) and Andrew (who came for 5 weeks, this is 3rd his trip to Uganda) are leaving Uganda next week. It has been a blessing to have them with us. Everyone got involved with something. There is none who can say there is nothing to do. They go to see children in different Organizations we work with, play with the kids, teach them English and other subjects like math for example. We also are distributing boxes of clothes which we received from Poland.  They are helping in this area too. Apart from that doing letters with kids.  Joel who came here in July is responsible for finishing  the building for volunteers (he took over after Adam who already left for Poland).

Hannah 's passports

Finally we got the passport for our precious daughter. After two months of waiting the Immigration finished  processing the application and Henry was able to collect Hannah's passports. Praise God for that. However we are still in process of getting polish passport for her but we are still happy of having Kenyan one for now. We thank you for your support and your prayers. The process is long but we believe even though it takes time God gives us patience in that.

Back from Kenya

We had a wonderful time with the family in Nairobi and Mombasa. Once we took Hannah Grace to the beach, her first time to be by the Ocean :). Now we are back in Uganda though we didn't get Hannah's passports yet..Unfortunately 4 weeks were not enough  to process them. Passports are still in process of getting ready. I hope and pray it will be ready any time soon. You can still pray for us as we are working on the documents for our baby.
Sending warm blessings from Uganda

Kenya

Thanking God for his faithfulness and protection. We reached Kenya well. The journey was very long, it took us over 18hours by the time we arrived to Nairobi Hannah Grace did so well. Most of the time sleeping on her baby chair. Henry's family welcomed us very nicely. They are very happy that we visited them. Also very happy for baby Hannah. Everyone want to carry her. It is nice, it gives me some time to relax. The important thing, we managed to apply for Hannah's passports. It was hectic to move with her from office to office but finally we submitted our applications. Now we have 3 weeks of waiting for the passports to be ready. I pray there will be no delay and as they said by 1st of August we shall have passports for our Hannah. It will be helpful because we apply for East African Passport too, which  allow us to move with her within East African countries without visas problems. Please join us in prayer in this area, so we leave Kenya on time and go back to Uganda.
Thank you in advance , we bless you all in Jesus name.

Faithfulness of God

We are so thankful to God for protecting us all, we are doing well, none of us is sick. Baby Hannah Grace is doing fine, feeding on my breast milk. I can't complain I am running out of milk because there are days where milk is just pouring out of my breast. If I would have another baby I would be able to feed her/his with that. Hannah Grace looks so grown these days – it is hard to believe she is just 6 weeks old.
Every day is such a blessing to us, God has been providing for us and for our daughter. We did receive many clothes for her and that's a big relief .We didn't need to buy a single baby's wear. So far we are spending quite enough buying nappies. However still God takes care of that, we are able to provide for our daughter fresh diapers.

We are also so grateful for the time we spent in Kampala with our friends from Father's House. We had much fun together, feeling like we are part of them. Now our time here is over and time to move on, get back to our mission field in Keynjojo. We are looking forward what God has for us for this coming season. It has been some time since we were there together. Now it looks like we will be going 5 instead of 2(3 of us plus 2 voluntaries coming from Poland). Praise God for help he is sending to us.

Unfortunately we still don't have documents for Hannah and because of that we have to travel to Kenya where we can apply for her passport. Please pray for God's provision, tickets and God's favor upon us. We want to apply for her East African Passport which enable her to move within those counties without any visas issue.

Taking these opportunity we wanna thank you for your prayers and all support. We pray that God will keep you well and the same we pray blessing over you and your families.

Hannah Grace is with us

The time pass through and our little daughter,Hannah Grace is with us.She was born on 18th of May (week earlier according to the due day).
We are so happy to have her with us on this side. The whole process took time. I was admitted in the hospital on Thursday when the water broke. With God's and Doctor's help I was able to deliver naturally. Praise God for that. God did a miracle. The last two ultrasounds showed that the cord had been around the baby's neck. The Doctor was a bit concern about that, but what is impossible with God?- Mark 10;27. Also earlier in Mark 5;36 he says ”Do not be afraid only believe. Very true, believe Mirka and all be well. When the baby was born, we found out there was no cord around the neck anymore and our little princess was fine. God can really turn the situation the way he want ,we have to trust him and that's all. Now our daughter is already 1week old and it is such pleasure watching her smiling when asleep, taking care of her. She is such joy to us. We thank you for your prayers and and also support we received from you. We appreciate all and pray that God will reward you everything you did for us.
Stay blessed friend

With 4 more weeks left

I am remaining with few more weeks till our baby will be born.I am so excited about it, but still hard to believe that soon I am going to be a mother. Last week went for scan, doctor says baby is doing well. The problem is that the cord is on baby's neck but I believe what can't be seen by human being it can bee seen by our Creator .God is able to change this "For God everything is possible" Mark 10;27
Right now I am in Kampala in Father's House, thanks God  for this place. It is not too far from here to the hospital. Not like from Keynjojo. Also people here are taking good care of me.Little Mark (3)keep asking when baby Hania is coming out.He can't wait to give her a  hug an
d play together with her.I don't know if he really understand that she will be to small to play.Anyway it is so  sweet from him.
Henry is right now in Kenya, trying to work on his passport etc. Let's keep him in your prayers .Hoping he will be done in few days and be back in Uganda soon.
Also taking this opportunity I want to give thanks to all of you who stand with us in prayer and any kind of support. God really takes good care of us through you. May God continue to pour his blessing on you and your families.

Third trimester

From now on still two more months to go till baby comes into this World. Each day I don't know what to expect. The nights are very hard to sleep, hard to find comfortable position, the hotness is killing me, having problem with breathing myself. The Doctor is far away, over 250 km away from where we stay. Thanks God for people in Fathers House who offered place to stay during this time. On Monday going to Kampala for Doctor's appointment then remaining there till delivery.
So far received so many clothes for the baby, though the baby is still in my tummy but God really cares, showing us His abundant love.
Last Saturday were very scared.None of us knew what was happening. I never felt such pain, first thought I was going into the labor. God knew it wasn't time yet for that. Thanks God to listen to our call -"He hears us whenever we call to Him..." 1 John 5.15
I ask you my dear friends please don't stop  praying for us, for God's protection over the baby and us as a family, also remember to pray for provision. The bill in the Hospital is high every time I go for check up. The cost of delivering the baby goes from 600$ to 1000$ depends of the condition of the baby in mummy's tummy. More complication then the bill is bigger. But  I believe "whenever two of us on earth agree about anything we pray for,it will be done by our Father in heaven"Matthew 18;19 Thank you all for your prayers, love and support. We love you all, hoping you are doing well.

Looking forward to introduce to you our little one soon:)

Art work in Kaihura

One of the day we received parcel where we found some Madeline in it.I remember how fun I had when I was little kid. Playing with it, making different shapes of animals. Straight awayI got an idea of using it and do some activity with some of the kids here.

We drew different pictures on the paper then instead of coloring them with the crayons we used this Madeline to fill the pictures. Kids seemed to be enjoying, more kids were willing to join us, only that myself got a bit tired. Moving with the pregnancy in this hotness with a big belly is not easy. The weather makes me tired very often. But though not many kids I could take at this time we still enjoyed and learn new things. Hopefully will be back there other day. The children are very smart and happy to learn new things every day. So I want to give big thanks to the person who sent us this kind of gift. God bless you abundantly.

Queen Elizabeth- Safari

We wanna thanks for the opportunity of taking some of the children for Safari. All of them were for the  first time on trip like this. They never went out so far, had much fun like they had during the trip on Safari.  A shame, we could not take all of them but even those few who were able to go were blessed very much by you.
At school they hear about elephants, lions, other wild animals but that day they were able to see them in real with their own eyes. What's a wonderful experience. There is possibility that most of them were for the first time sited on the car, eating sandwiches with cheese, nuttela, etc. Few kids were not sure what to do with it so they hided them in their bags. I am not sure why?
In all I am thankful for this chance and I guarantee this trip will remain in their memories for long period of time. God bless you.

Shoes

This month, we were able to buy more shoes for the children. Every time we go to share those shoes no matter if they are fitting them or not, each kid is very happy thinking probably from Today no more gigers on my feet. You can see the smiles on their little faces.Thank you so much for you support and thoughtfulness.

Work continues

End of January received group of polish voluntaries who came to Keynjojo. They will be with us for few weeks before they go back homes. We are very happy to have them around. They are very lovely people, ready to give themselves to the community. Bedsides that, we all have much fun together.

From the day they arrived, they started working hard.Every day have been going to other village where they worked in the school, to make sure that before holiday ends, the school will be ready for the children to move back in. I am impressed that, just few days before the academic year starts they managed to put things in order, were done with painting etc.

After hard work at school, some of them managed and visited children in one of the children homes,Home again. The kids had much fun with them, playing with balloons, sharing clothes, drawing pictures. Much joy was seen on faces of the little ones. Great blessing to each of them. Thank you guys for your work.

Blessed with a baby girl:)

We are very happy to receive such a blessing God put on us. Now I am already 5 months pregnant. The beginning of the pregnancy wasn't easy, felt sick mostly all the time and I had to spend a lot of time in bed, but thanks God this period is over. Now I am doing much more better, feeling like have some energy to do things. However have to be careful and not to overwork myself. This week went to clinic for the scan where found out it is going to be a girl. We already have chosen name for her. Hannah Grace seems to be very active girl, like to play a lot in mummy's tummy.
We trust God for all the provisions to sustain our needs and pay the bills in the clinic. Every visit cost us a lot of money. The hospital I am going to deliver from is far away from the place where we are located. It's quite hectic to travel using public means of transport. To reach Kampala, Capital city it takes around 5 hours and it is over 200 km on the rough bumpy roads. People complain sometimes on the roads in their own home country but what if they would see the roads in Africa? What would they say then?
We still have not solved visas issue here.My visa will finish next month, getting work permit it is hard, a lot of paper work, talking to different people. The same Henry's visa. Please stand with us in prayers in this areas of visas and finances. We believe God can make a miracles.
In this month of January we will be receiving a quite big number of voluntaries from Poland who are planing to stay in Uganda couple of weeks. Some of them are coming for the first time, some of them were here before. We pray for them as they are preparing to come this way, may God provide and protect them wherever are they.
We will be updating you as often as we can. For now wishing you a blessed week. May God be with you all.
