School proposal

Light of the World International Foundation (LOTWIF) is a christian interdenominational non profit, non political Organization that seeks to educate and equip less fortune, vulnerable communities by providing holistic development opportunities that will aid in both the spiritual and physical well being and growth of people in the Republic of Kenya,
Campaign Description and its importance to us
LOTWIF seeks to help build classrooms for nursery school at Kwademu village which is in Mwanamwinga Location of Kilifi County in Kenya. Kwademu. (demu means rag, worn out cloth which is not useful). The community believe that nothing good can happen or come out of that area. The only things they are used to is witchcraft, idolatry, drunkenness etc and because of that there is no development in this place. Beside that, there are no many committed Christians. By helping build classrooms for the children we can change the people's mindsets that nothing good can be done in this place. People hearts may be touched and soften toward Christ.
Magnitude of what contributors will help achieve
Through your cherished contribution towards this worthy course, LOTWIF will be able to build classrooms for the kids who currently study in a shelter. At the moment the school has 75 pupils which are 4 classes in one room of 8 by 9 meters. By building the classrooms, the children will be able to study without any distraction and more focus on their lessons.
Where the funds are going to be used
We would wish to raise $32,000 (USD) to build 4 classrooms. Cost of putting up one classroom is around $8,000(USD) which includes building, labor and transportation of the materials. The funds received here will be exclusively used to build the classes and any extra collections used to equip the classrooms for the school beginners.
Unique perks
All contributors towards this project will be honored and their names will be engraved in the class memorial plaque.  All the records how the money will be spent will be put in place and kept safe in LOTWIF files for access. Thank you messages will be sent to the contributors as a means of appreciation as we believe God is the only one who can reward you adequately.
Where the funds go in case we don’t reach the entire goal
The ultimate achievement of this campaign is building 4 classrooms for the nursery school learners of Light of the World Academy (LOTWA). Any funds received towards this course will be used in building the classrooms. Even if we may not be able to raise the whole amount, the construction will still be started as we remain hopeful we will get other sources of completing the project.
The Impact
The building of these classrooms will motivate the children to embrace education, help them be self-reliant in the world and help raise the literacy levels in this poor community. These children come from poor backgrounds yet they have ambitions of being resourceful to the world but these problems force them to adopt the mindsets of being nothing, witchcraft and alcoholism.
Risks & Challenges
The ambition of LOTWIF is to help build the classrooms for the nursery school kids and having been registered in Kenya as an NGO, its easy to win the confidence of the government, and being established in the area, we easily won the confidence of the residents.
However the challenges we are facing is lack of funds and support. Yes we won the confidence of some of residents but still there is a big percentage of people who have mindsets of witchcraft. So we kindly ask you also for a prayer in that area.

Please find an attachment with plan of the classes.

Blessed year 2015

Dear friends thank you for your prayers and gifts. We had a great time during Christmas holiday, children enjoyed their gifts. The little girls were also enjoying playing with small cars, there was a lot of joy. The party was a blast. Those who contributed for the food, thanks so much. Many children came for the feast, every one wanted to eat meat because not most of them eat rice and meat in their daily lives. Most common food in the village is ugali/posho and greens which grows everywhere in the bush. It mighty be not nutritious but most of the parents are not able to afford anything else apart from that. However God is faithful. The day of the Christmas party we had plenty of food. A lot of people were happy that day. Glory goes to God. Thank you for standing with us in your prayers and financial support. Without your faithful support we could not have accomplished what the Lord has enable us to accomplish. So, thank you very much and may God greatly and immensely bless you.

Let's all of us take some time to thank the Lord for His grace and help throughout 2015. Regardless of how 2015 had challenges to you and to us, we thank God for he was with us. Why we are alive today means that God is not done with you and us. He want to use all of us for greater things. No matter where we are in our lives right now God is always in control.
Things might not have gone the way we planned, some of us did not reach the goals set up for 2015 but that is not the reason to give up. Friends it is up to us, we all have a choice either we give up , or we put our trust in God. Apostle Paul says … but one thing I do: forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on.” Phlp. 3;13.
For us, we choose to press on and work hard believing with God's help things are possible. We have not started to build the school and the new year is already here, kids are back to school and the number of children are increasing, we are still studying from the shelter, but we are sure God is able. Instead of giving up we press on toward the goal. Our prayer is that you will chose the right way, to not give up on your dream. Be patience.
Wishing you Happy New Year
